I am a native Michigander looking for a Spanish/ESL teaching job (full or part-time) in the suburbs of Detroit or Grand Rapids area. We live out of state, retired military family, and would love to finally return home to family. Thanks for any comments or suggestions in advance!
mark There certainly are bilingual and ESL jobs in Michigan. It is not the booming market you would see in, say: Chicago, but they are out there. I don't know exactly how glutted that field is, but I believe it is better than most.

Jane Just watch where the government is shipping all the kids from the border....those schools will need Spanish/ESL teachers! In Michigan, the two places mentioned are Detroit and Vassar.
