I happened upon this thread, and also wanted to see what are my
options if I leave my school?
I've taught for one year at my school in KC, MO, and had the
mandatory retirement taken out.
If I was to move to a different state, when can I pull that out,
and will there be penalties? Can I leave it in for 5 years? If
I can't, and pull it out, I only get back what I put in, not what
is matched correct? Can I even get back what they took from me???
Lots of questions, but I'm young and new to this whole retirement
thing.
Thanks for any help.
