It's a little early to see those posted. Right now districts
with early retirement programs will be getting those
notifications by late Jan. Then positions are posted for
transfer for teachers within the district. They start
looking outside the district in the Spring (March for some
of the bigger districts). You didn't say if you were
certified GATE. Those positions are harder to find but in
larger districts you would need gifted certification.
University of MO has an online degree/ certification.
Some districts have their own job fairs in Feb. There is a
large teacher job fair at UMSL in Feb and at Mizzou in March.
Several districts are in cost containment and not having job
fairs due to the small number of openings. That includes
Parkway.
Keep checking www.moreap.net and www.schoolspring.com in the
Spring and make sure you follow all of the procedures on each
school district's website HR page because some of them are
using their own "school recruiter" online applications -
Rockwood, Clayton and a few others, I think. For independent
schools it is www.independentschools.org
Good luck to you. It's a very tight job market right now.
You might have to settle for smaller districts that are not
your first choice until the bigger ones have better budgets
to work with. Or, you may get lucky. Good luck on your
search
