Posted by Dawn on 10/02/08 I finally got my NC Licenses! First question: I had a Secondary English license that allowed me to teach 6-12 in my previous state. NC only gave me 9-12. Does this mean I cannot teach middle school Language Arts? Second question: I was given two licenses at the MA level because I have two MAs. I have 3 licenses in 3 different areas. The one I don't have an MA in is English. Does this mean that if I teach English I won't get my MA level pay? In my previous state you got MA pay no matter what your MA was in.
