Hello...

I am Connie's daughter, Ashley. I happened to read this while
googling her name today. It is so nice to read about the impact
she has made on educators and students :)

She died on my birthday last Sunday morning in her sleep at home
(just listed as hospital because she was transported there). She
has been in poor health for years due to congestive heart
failure and several other illnesses. Her body just gave out.

Just wanted to update those of you who were wondering what
happened. Keep her spirit alive through your teaching :)
