Currently the test covers literary elements and grammar. It
is an 80 question test with lots of reading and responding to
the text to answer questions. Read aloud is not allowed and
many students struggle with it due to the heavy reading
comprehension and literary analysis. They are considering
moving it to grade 10 and pairing in some way with the writing
test that is given in 10th grade but we have not heard how or
when yet.
