My first reaction to this article was - " Boy, I'm glad I
got out of CMS". Next, I figured this might signal a
statewide move to this way of thinking.

My second reaction was - " Gee, did I waste three years and
a ton of money in grad school"? LOL.

You know what? I didn't. My M.Ed DID make me a better
teacher. I learned things that improved my performance. So
the two were directly related.

I'm not sure what Dr. Gorman's motives really are, but I
don't trust them...and I don't agree with them.

I'm not afraid of being evaluated on performance - I already
am. I feel confident I could probably do OK on just about
style of evaluation.

But, this appears to be a desperate " grasping at straws".
As usual, teachers are taking the brunt.

It's a bad move.
