Post: Bumper Crop of Natl Boards??

I've been wondering about something. This is the last year
that NC will pay the fee for National Boards. At my school,
we have a large number of candidates this year---but, then,
we had a large number of folks who'd been considering it for
some time. I'm on pins and needles waiting on my scores,
but I've been wondering something: is there a bumper crop of
candidates in NC this year?
If even half of the candidates at our school successfully
certify this year, we will be looking at a giant leap in
numbers and a really significant group of NBCT's in one
building.
