I got marked down for not using enough technology. I use a ton of
tech in reading/science, but most of the walk thrus were during math
since our scores stunk and we wre adpoting a new series (so I was
afraid to use technology while learning a new series, and kinder
math is mostly hands-on anyhow). I tried to defend myself, saying I
can mail you the 10,000 or so technology
flipcharts/websites/activities we did, and he wouldn't change the
evaluation. He said he "didn't see it" while walking thru. I thought
the walk-thrus weren't meant to evaluate us, they were just meant to
collect school-wide data and snapshots??
I don't think they hear themselves when they talk, or else they have
VERY short memories.
