That is an incredibly naive or stupid thing to say. This isn't the
"latest fad"; these "reforms" are a naked power grab by the one percent
against everybody else in an attempt to dismantle democracy. It is
    incompatible with neoliberal interests.

Read the work of Diane Ravitch and Lois Weiner, and then argue with a
straight face that this trend of dismantling public education and
destroying teachers is just a "fad." It isn't.

The only way it can be stopped is through pressure by teachers and
parents on politicians who are giving the billionaires and privatizers
the green light to scam taxpayers for profit under the guise of charter
    schools and other "reforms."
