I came up here from FL. My certification has processed and the state has accepted my seven years of experience. I started out working with CMS. I did not get placed in the Beginning Teacher Program. I resigned and started working at a charter school. I have just found out from them that I will need to be in a Beginning Teacher Program for the next three years. Does anyone know if all new teachers to the state need to do this? The only information I can find online says that this program is for teachers with less than three years of experience. No where does it say that this applies to EVERY teacher that is coming from out of state.
