National Average?

How are we the 8th most populous state and the narrative only calls for getting us paid to the national average? If we're becoming such a great state to live in then why should we only be average?

Why are we not easily paid in the top 15? Why should we be average?

The following timeline shows the start date in the 1940s. And I was not aware that Utah, North/South Dakota, Nebraska, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, Indiana, as well as several other states fought for the South!

And I was amazed to find out that gardeners are public sector workers.

A What is illegal (your term) is that state employees are not allowed to use collective bargaining or negotiate for working conditions, pay, benefits, etc. NCAE is linked to NEA which IS a teacher's union, but we do not get to collective bargain, strike, or any of the rest of it.

union yes Unintended consequences. Government overreach without reasoning. Single women were mostly teachers-who cares about them, they were just waiting for husbands anyway.
