Post: Methamphetamine

Posted by annie786 on 4/26/06

    Hello!

My mom is a sped teacher in ND and looking for resources on
the effects of methamphetamine on kids. Recently six people
were arrested in the town where she teaches (pop. 500) for
cooking meth...there were seven children involved, most of
them school aged. The children were displaying odd behavior
before being taken by social services, but afterwards the
behaviors intensified...they all tested positive for meth
and so it is to be assumed that they were going through
withdrawals. Anyone who has information, websites, books,
journals, articles, etc containing information or if you are
going through this yourself, please respond! Meth isn't
just affecting the drugs users, it's affecting entire
    communites as well as children!

    thanks!
    Annie
