I teach in NH.. I have not yet reached tenure. Is 6 weeks the minimum you can take off? Is it by weekdays? I am due March 15th and would love to take the rest of the year off but I am not sureif I am "allowed" to and be able to have my job the following Fall. Six weeks brings me to sometime in May.. I'd love to not have to work May or June.. anyone know the "rules" of maternity leave? This will be my second year teaching at my school in a classroom setting. Thanks!
