(Just a hint - to keep these threads shorter, you all need to erase
the last and original post before replying)
To the original poster - No offense, but I don't know what state or
planet you are on. A long term sub position is a gift that you
should not take lightly. Regardless of whether it leads to a full
time position in that school, you are in the catbird seat. You
should embrace the job and all the responsibility they give you,
regardless of what you are getting paid.
Let me put this in perspective for you - there are teachers all over
the state and the country that are way more qualified than you that
are out of work and frustrated by the prospect of subbing or just
not working at all. You are shooting yourself in the foot if you
complain about your current position. Long term sub assignments are
hard to come buy and you have lucked out.
OK, I'm getting off my soapbox now.....
