You decide in which districts you would like to work and send
your application to each individual district. In NJ there are
hundreds of school districts since each town has their own
district. Some districts are so small that they have only one
school. go to the NJ Dept. of Education website
http://www.state.nj.us/education/
click on NJ School Directory then click on the school
districts option in the School Directory Search menu. This
will show you the names of the different counties and will
give you a link to each district in each county. Each
district has their own procedure. Some use an online
application system, others use a paper application. Before
filling applications you should just send your resume with a
cover letter and copy of your certifications to each
district's Human Resources Office. That's how I was called
for an interview. After they interview if they're hiring you
they will ask you to fill the application with all the
information.
