Re: Praxis II elementary content knowledge

There is very little education theory on the test. The test
for the most part covers what students learn in Grades 1-6.
However, if you have watched "Are you smarter than a 5th
Grader?" we don't always remember that.

It was helpful to me when I took the exam that my children
were in fifth and third grade and I was helping them with
homework. I was also substitute teaching at the elemementary
level so that helped refresh my memory on such subjects.

To assist, I bought the book "What Your Sixth Grader Needs to
    Know."

With the book and the test booklet for the Praxis exam, I
made sure that I felt comfortable on all the topics that
    would be covered.
