My kids go to schools in the district, there are plenty that I would
not send them too. A couple of calls were for jobs in math, as
offers for employment were mentioned. I am pretty sure that many
more would have been offers for employment in math as that is a
shortage area. 2 jobs in a school close to where we live just filled
positions with people from out of state, they just moved in to rent
in our area. The shortage in math is due to the numerous tests that
have to be taken, and they are not easy either. We both have math
listed on our license so are not worried in coming years about
finding a job within CCSD unless a miracle happens and they hire
thousands of great teachers....
