I did get an interview there this year. I was weird. They herded
50 of us into a conference room and they asked the entire group to
comment on what they knew about online education and OHVA. Then
they broke us up to go from table to table to interview with
different people for 2 minutes each (like speed dating- you rotate
between tables). I did meet someone who worked there and you have
to have an "in" to get an interview or hired. ECOTs interview was
more personnel. They are upfront about your pay ($31, 000 for BA
and $32,000 for MA)and what you have to do for the job. You make
your hours- 6 hours a day. You cannot work another teaching job
while employed for them- something about conflict of interest
(this includes substitute teaching). All their jobs are currently
filled but they did say they sometimes have hire new people in
October so it is good to get your resume in and keep emailing
them. There is a central office in Columbus.
