The person I mentioned who had an interview was my daughter. I am
a 27 year veteran public school teacher myself, and I was nervous
about the prospect of my daughter working for a charter school. It
was her decision though, and thankfully, like you, she had some
nervousness as well as reservations. The principal for whom she
would have worked was not a licensed administrator. (Red flag!)
Also like you, my daughter has opted to sub this year. I truly
believe this is a wise decision for both of you! Good luck! :)
