    Post: Teachers' Code of Conduct

    Posted by pksped on 8/18/08

Can anyone post information about this? My s-i-l said that
they had an entire presentation about this on her opening
day; our distrrict has said nothing. It's some kind of new
law in which the average joe can turn in a teacher to ODE,
I think, for things not appropriate to teachers' conduct
(like drinking a little too much at a wedding, for
example.) I'm NOT talking about conduct on the job. I'm
talking about being judged by things teachers might do in
their own private time (like drinking a beer during dinner
in a public restaurant, I think.) Lest anyone read this
and wonder, I can't even remember the last time liquor
touched my lips. I just gave those as examples.
