Ditto on getting that license renewed. A friend of mine in OH
that taught for many years, then left to go into industry, now
is trying to get back in the classroom. She is finding it
challenging to get hired with "I'll get my license back
because I once held one" as her response. She interviews, but
is passed over. She was hoping to find something this fall,
but now is taking classes to get it back, which delayed her a
school year. She now will have it back, but not until June of
'09.

Don't let it lapse. Keep renewing it if there is a chance to
can/want to come back to OH.
