    Oregon is infamous for being an extremely tough place to find
    a teaching job. In recent years there were budget cutbacks,
    and that coupled with hundreds of recent college grads is why
    it is hard to get teaching jobs up there unless it is a
    high-demand field.

    There is nothing wrong with you; it's just the competition for
    jobs is so stiff.
