No, you don't need your Master's to sub and that is a good
way to get some experience before deciding if you want to
become a teacher. But, when I was living there, they already
had so many subs in PDX district that they wouldn't accept
me. I subbed for a bunch of other districts in the area.
There are also many classified level jobs you could get for
which you don't need more than the qualifications you already
have.
