Contact the RI Dept. of Ed. With your bachelor's, I believe
you can get emergency certification in order to sub. Be
selective about where you sub, though. I know that
Providence pays a lot, but you should be aware of what it
takes to sub in an urban district, compared to somewhere
like Cumberland or Lincoln.
As for teaching full time, thanks to that lovely NCLB and
needing to be highly qualified in teaching in your content
area, you would have to get teacher certification (look into
RI College).
