Re: Middle or High School Math Jobs?
Posted by riteacher on 4/03/08

Yes there have been a huge number of layoff notices given in
many communities. The reality is that most of these teachers
will have their job back in the fall. Districts have to notify
teachers of possible layoff by March first. Many will be hired
back by the end of June so that they cannot collect
unemployment. Others will find out their jobs are there just
before school starts. Very few will not have jobs.

If you can get your certification in hand you stand a chance of
finding a middle or high school math job. Certified math
    teachers are still in demand.
