Elementary jobs have been scarce here and are projected to be
the same next year. However, if you have sped or ESL or
reading certification your job hunt may be more successful.

The very first thing is to obtain RI certification. Without
it you will not even be interviewed as (unless the rules
change or the certified pool of applicants dries up).
RI certification can be a lengthly or a short process
depending on your situation and current certification. Check
the RI cerification link and apply now if you plan to search
for jobs in RI next year.

There are also private school jobs and some charter schools
    are opening.
