Re: Anyone familiar with Section 8 housing in S.C.
Posted by Will Rogers on 7/04/07

    Dear :Grip"

I recommend you read closely there before getting worked up....and if
you attack, at least be honest enough to put you name on it. I can tell
you never served honorably in the military, hiding.

I am coming off welfare, and I took the opportunity to go to school to
get the master's degree and teacher's certification. Me? I'm not in
section 8, turned it down so the older couple next to me could have it.
As I read, you work for the stat, hence your office probibly moves so
slow it's like molasses in december in maine. I gather research, ask
questions, and put my name on what I post, I am not a coward to hide.
Never have been, never will be.

I am glad you never had to be on welfare, good for you. Workingfor the
state ensures the 9-11 attacks didn't cost your career, as it did my
wife and I. Glad you caught that break! Good for you.

I want to point something out also, I did not ue free mney to get my
master's degree...I did it with student loan, which I will pay back.
Tough, but my daughters are worth the best I can offer them. So I will
suck it up, teach at my best level, and support those around me who
will put thir name on what they write. Try it sometime...ownership of
    an issue is liberating. :-)

To clarify an item for you, I found a good apartment in Beaufort to
live, no welfare, ***THANK GOD FOR THAT!***

I grew in South carolina and ran into your type all over, and I see
    they are still here, unfortunately.

Let's see if you are man/woman enough to accept a simple challenge:
Instead of continuing to harbor your dislike of oths, why not find a
way to HELP someone achieve a goal? I mean a total stranger, not a
    frienor family member, a stranger.

As Now I am certified and a psychologist,I know EXACTLY how to
comparewhat someone says toadults and children, and work to ensure we
educate those who need it, support those I can, and stand up to idiots
and backward-thinkers and bullies. Don't run with the big dogs if you
don't have the skills...and I oubt you have them.

Good luck to you. Try building up,nt tearing down for a change. And be
man enough to put your name out there, otherwise, you are marginlized
    and left behind.

Feel free to come to Latrobe (or Beaufort when I move down in August),
and we can hash it out o you so choose. I'm ready.

    Signed,

    W.Rogers
    Latrobe, PA
