Friends: Working in HR is as stressful as being a stationary
engineer in a boiler room. They spend more time eating donuts,
complaining about their spouses' shortcomings (wink), and watching
their backsides exceed the size of their seat cushions. Most of the
time these bureaucrats already know whom they are going to hire but
by law must publish the openings via periodicals and the internet...
maybe a few might get a token interview, but otherwise it's all
staged. It's the ideal job for those who have little ambition,
slight cranial activity, and are willing to bend the rules in order
to be accepted and keep their mundane positions. That just about
says it all...if I have left anything out, please feel free to
continue the thread!
