I am considering persuing the alternative teaching license
(certificate) in Tennessee. My research has been limited
to the state website ( unable to reach anyone by phone).
Apparently, with a BS degree and 24 credit hours in an
area of concentration and 5 years of work experience in
that same area, it is possible to become licensed to teach
without taking the Praxis II exam. Is there anyone out
there who may be able to give me any insight into this
method of licensing? Any input is appreciated.
