I guess it depends on which area of TN. To be honest, East
Tennessee is very lacking in the diversity, culture, and
variety departments. So, if teaching is your only interest
in life, you'll be fine. However, if you have plans on doing
something other than shopping, eating at chain restaraunts,
or hiking... you will be bored. But, I'm originally from a
very metropolitan area, which makes East Tenneessee seem a
little drab. Just something to keep in mind when making a
big move.
