Please, put this on your calendars, web sites and in
newsletters and bulletins for June and let your members and
their families, fellow church and staff members know about
this opportunity. These students are quite musically,
athletically and academically talented.

An AFS-USA Hosting Information Session will be held at
Watkins College of Art, Design and Film on June 5th from
9:30-10-30 AM. It is located at 2298 Metrocenter Blvd in
Nashville, TN. The contact person is Suzanne Reiss at

Currently, the Miss Tennky AFS Area Volunteer Leadership
Team would like to give information to particularly folks
who wish to be a loving host to the AFS high school foreign
exchange students who are to be in the area for the 2010-11
school year. Mini-bios will be available at the session for
the families to view. How to become a host will be covered
as well as other volunteer opportunities. The local
coordinator for hosting is Jenny Myers at 615-385-9644 and

Students may attend private or public high schools and may
be hosted by many types of families. Families may be
married or single parents, w/without children, retired,
widowed, etc. The Miss Tennky Area AFS Volunteer Leadership
Team serves all of TN, MS, southern KY and Alabama.
Students come with spending money and are fully medically
insured.

The Miss Tennky Area AFS Volunteer Leadership Team also
needs registered volunteers for a host of position. If you
