I don't have any leads for you, but I want you to know that
you are not alone. I live in Ohio, have been teaching for 5
years, and have been laid off TWICE due to cuts. My husband
and I are willing to move ANYWHERE in the country in order to
secure a teaching position. I have been told the same thing:
there are just not any music teaching positions to be be
found. I am considering joining TEACH AMERICA to see if they
can place me somewhere just so I can teach again.
