Check out Texas as there are plenty of positons open and are
going to open. If also interested in coaching, you must be a
certified teacher. Pay scale for Texas starts @ 27,320 for a
first year teacher at base level. Most districts pay above
base level. Along with my regular salary, I receive 1500.
for teaching science, 4000+ coaching, and 2000. for
returning, for a total approx. 50,000.+ & benefits.
Check out the Texas Education Agency site and click on
the "Ed. Regional Centers".
