    Post: Braille Presentation

Posted by Deja Powell on 3/30/09

In celebration of Louis Braille’s 200th birthday, and the
release of the U.S. Mint’s 2009 Louis Braille Bicentennial
Silver Dollar, the National Federation of the Blind of
Utah is going around to schools in the state of Utah to
give a presentation on Braille and how it effects the
lives of blind people. Each presentation can be
customized to any length of time and any size student
    organization, class, group or school.

If you are interested in this fun, informative
presentation, given by positive blind role models in the
community, please contact Deja Powell at
    déjà.powell@gmail.com or call 801-891-3430.

*Each student attending will receive a Braille alphabet
card to take home. There is no cost for this presentation.

Please distribute this information to all interested
    teachers and staff.
