No teacher union in Virginia. I belong to the education
association. They can only help you after you get a
continuing contract...that is 3 years of satisfactory evals.
Jobs are secure in Fairfax & Loudoun...for the most part.
They do fire 30-50 new teachers a year out of 800 plus.
Homes went WAY down and you can find them in the low 300's
easy now. You do pay into SS............
