Re: How Does Your School Recognize Veterans Day?![]()
Posted by brian lockhart on 9/13/07
My question is why is this being compared to MLK? In my area
every public elementary school does something for Veterans
Day. I wouldn't say that observing MLK's birthday is
considered mandatory by administrators at least not in the
public school setting. Be proud of what you do for VFW and
share the ideas with the other schools in the area. It sounds
like a problem in the private sector to me.
