Hi Lucie,
You're probably coming to the end of your PGCE - it's a
REALLY tough year, but I'm sure you've done really well.
We graduated together from Psychology and I always assumed we
would stay in touch once we had gone our separate ways. We
did for a time, but after you came back from the US, I never
heard from you. This really upset me and worried me. Even
now that it has been a few years, the friendship I lost is
something that still plays on my mind. At first, I was
concerned that something had happened to you, but when I
found your posted message, it was clear that you are OK -
which I'm pleased about.
So, I guess what I really want is some closure. I'm making a
final attempt to contact you and find out if there is
anything I could have done to have avoided this total break
in contact. I think it was a bit unfair to just leave me -
there were so many things that I wished I could have shared
with you - and that perhaps I could have helped you with,
beyond the PGCE.
I would be really grateful if you could find it in your heart
to contact me one last time. You could get my number from my
parents or find me under my married name at www.jisc.ac.uk.
