Currently the Waupun school district has a posting for a special
education (ED) teacher at the high school. I believe the license
number(s) and details of the postion are on the school's
website. Waupun high school is a great school, lovely building
and nice staff. I substituted for this position for a few weeks
and can't say enough about the team teachers, aides and great
students. The incumbent teacher died suddenly and a senior had
died the weekend prior and this school mustered all available
resources for students and staff.

This is an inclusion situation so the teachers sit in some
classes, run a large resource room and do those other things
with students typical for an EEN teacher.

The original poster wrote about the job market in Madison;
Waupun is approximately a 1 hour drive, 4 lane highway, from
Madison to the northeast, further up is Fond Du Lac and Waupun
is a nice small city so the living costs are likely less than
Madison.
