You might want to read the recent Texas chatboard. It
doesn't look very nice in Texas in terms of benefits, pay,
etc. A techer from Cal. was asking about moving there, and
the Texas teachers painted a very bleak picture. I taught
in the Coulee Region of Wisconsin for 20 years (still own
the family farm by Mauston), and we moved to suburban
Atlanta, and we love it! New schools, high pay, big
shortage of teachers, great benefits. Read the post below
on the WI board about "great jobs" to get more info. If I
