I forget when exactly teachers have to notify schools of
intent to return next year, but I believe it's some time this
month or next. Toward the end of the school year and over
the summer, a lot of jobs will open up. I ended up getting a
bunch of interviews in the summer my first year out of
college, subbing for a year, and then finding a job the
following August. Don't panic! It's early, and you can work
close to full time subbing if you need to.
