Yes, John did oppose rails to trails. He, like I, knows that
when we remove the rails we lose valuable jobs and means of
getting goods to market in the most efficient manner. The
railroad industry provides JOBS. You know, those ones that pay
$30k -$80k per year. Those JOBS employ people who have houses
and cars and (gasp) pay property tax that supports schools.
Yes, the rails to trails brings in locals who walk and ride on
it. But what about the 100-200 railroad jobs that were lost? My
father was one of those people!!!

John emphasizes the family should rear their children. This is
an unfortunate thing in todays society that people do not take
responsibility for their offspring. He, and I, think that
people should be responsible parents. We need to work towards
those means.

If you see the waste at your local board office, you too would
oppose the levies. Clean out the deadweights at the board
offices and then people will support the levies.
