Its our new training initiative. Everyone except new teachers knows
how to use the online database, and while the exemplar lessons
are still available to admins, we have to develop new training
offerings, so the "presentation" component is our new training and
leadership development opportunity. Basically, one of our perky,
pretty, former elementary teachers called a workshop leader, re-
teaches you how to conduct and manage an elementary school
classroom, as if you were back in college in your training program
(its what they know).
This greatly reduces liability for us, as there is no documentation
for someone to use against us, its just notes basically, and we can
tweek and modify it infinitely. It also makes the product easy to
assess, teachers that arent performing well, or using "immersion"
level TRS, can easily be evaluated poorly.
