It's a specific way that we have to teach-10 minute mini
lesson, 8-10 minute "struggle or think outside the box time,"
20 minutes of the students teaching each other, and a 5
minute "wrap up." The kids leave not knowing what they were
supposed to learn and the parents are angry because they can't
help their child if the child doesn't know what they are
supposed to do. Of course, we are still required to use TRS
assessments. It's just blowing up all over again from K-6th
grade in my district because of this. I tried to attach a
website, but the Texas Teacher Chatboard wants me to register.
