    It all depends on what state you are comparing. Texas has
    everything from rural schools with less than 200 K-12 to
    large school districts with thousands upon thousands. The
    smaller schools tend to have a better handle on discipline.
    Larger schools usually have better facilities and access to
    more diverse classes. Salaries run the spectrum also. The
    largest schools pay better starting salaries. SP ED is in
    high demand relative to other subjects. Hope this helps a
