Plenty of people told admins and teacher organizations that
CSCOPE was a scam. They knew it. They brought it into the
schools to build their own power. CSCOPE is just the twin
sister of Common Core...and that is called Fed Led Ed. You
don't like having the feds control every breath you take but
yet most teachers can't run to the polls fast enough to pull
the lever for the very candidates that TFT and other orgs are
pushing at us. In the end, the administrators who are now
being used as patsies to set up a system where our schools are
sold out...they are going to suffer the same fate as the
teachers. They will be useless within the new system where
administrators are already being trained to takeover schools.
Since you are retired I have a suggestion to make. Share your
knowledge and experience to join into the growing political
backlash against Common Core in Texas schools. I see teachers
who are "retiring" (getting so burnt out that they pack up and
leave) and they allow the system to beat them up. Experienced
teachers, such as yourself, who know how the classroom is
supposed to run when teachers have autonomy are needed in the
behind-the-scenes pushback movement. Do a search for Texas Opt
Out and you will read about the brewing firestorm. Jump in.
We need you because you are honest and willing to speak out.
