Many parochial school teachers see their teaching as a ministry.
They do not make as much money in salary. I have not taught in
private school myself, but my child attends private school. I
teach in public. The way the students behave is world's apart.
The private school students are respectful and courteous. Don't
even get me started on the breakdown of discipline in public
schools and the clueless parents who think their child's behavior
is to be excused and defended.
