Give the cops the name of your assailant, tell them what
happened, on which specific date, and assure them that yes,
you DO want to press charges.
The criminal court system trumps anything your admins think
they can do to punish you or sweep the ASSAULT under the rug.
But you won't have the law on your side unless and until you
GO TO THE COPS and get the law on your side.
