Post: Guidance in the schools
I blog for Huffington Post for both the Living and Parents
pages. The parenting series is about the importance of
social skills and guidance education in the classroom. I am
a retired teacher with an extensive background in guidance
education. I received a teaching award for excellence in
education based on my school wide guidance initiatives. My
goal is to support and encourage classroom teachers to
infuse weekly programming with guidance/ social skills
related activities.
