I have some seniors that have jobs after school. I'm sure for the most part they are just minimum wage jobs to earn some pocket money. I have given students the opportunity to come to my classroom after school to work on computers if they don't have access outside of school. Should I have a policy where because this time is offered, there is no excuse for work being incomplete, or would I need to give students who have a job a break? Could I not hold them accountable?

class sometimes I did some sewing. I made my own clothes
and did the handwork parts at school while they talked. I
can do something and listen. I only had so much ti...See More
